Freeborders had a really interesting seminar today titled “Outsourcing Strategies for China.” The event format was a panel discussion moderated by Gregory Hing Freeborders’ VP of Global delivery. The panelists were Eugene Kublanov, VP Corporate Development at neoIT; Steve Kerwick, SVP Client Services at Kintera and Zhiqi Wei, Head of Science and Technology Division, Chinese Consulate of San Francisco.

Much of the discussion focused on China’s advantages as an outsourcing destination, including

• The country’s absolutely world-class infrastructure, not just in the technology parks, but throughout the nation
• A very broad and deep talent base of engineers and quality professionals
• A stable loyal workforce and a “hunger” to do the job

Congratulations to Freeborders for putting on a really first rate event that did a nice job of highlighting the region’s significant advantages as an outsourcing destination.
